If you love good food and you're a fan of cryptocurrency, then you'll be excited to hear about the world's first NFT restaurant, "FlyFish Club," created by the New York-based VCR group.

The restaurant is set to open in New York in 2023, offering its members unlimited access to a private dining room spanning 10,000+ square feet.

To become a member of The Membership, you must first purchase an NFT membership token. The membership NFT will be stored on the member’s personal device and will be used to gain access to the club’s various experiences, which include a bustling cocktail lounge, an upscale restaurant, and an intimate omakase room. The club will also have outdoor space for its members to enjoy.

There are two membership options - regular and premium. Regular memberships cost 2.5 Ethereum, while premium memberships cost 4.25 Ethereum. So, yes, you do need to have some cryptocurrency on hand to enjoy the food.

The menu features items that have been tokenized as ERC-721 non-fungible tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. Each dish on the menu has a unique digital identity that can be tracked, traced, and traded on the blockchain.

The food is pretty standard fare for a seafood restaurant - think of lobster, crab, and shrimp. But what sets this place apart is that you can't just walk in and order your meal. You need to have a reservation first, aside from being a member.

The launch of FFC is the latest example of how blockchain technology is being used to create new and innovative experiences. With its ability to provide exclusive access and secure transactions, blockchain is quickly becoming the go-to platform for businesses that are looking to create unique and differentiated offerings.

The concept of an NFT restaurant is still very new, so it will be interesting to see how this type of business develops over time. For now, though, The Membership is leading the way in this new and exciting industry.
