T

he most expensive NFTs are on the top floor. These elite pieces can cost as much as $1 million or more. There are other high-end items in existence that can sell even more expensively; one example is a painting by Van Gogh which was recently auctioned off and sold out to a private collector for over five times its original value.

Let’s take a look at the highest price ever paid in exchange for NFTs, which can then also go up or down depending on demand.

Bored Ape Yacht Club has the highest floor price of any NFT collection. As of 21 March 2022, the lowest-priced of the collection's 10,000 unique NFTs costs 99.99 ETH ($295,225; £224,006). The CryptoPunk collection is the closest competitor, with a floor price of 71.95 ETH.

The floor price signifies how much a market believes an NFT's worth - the higher it is, means that they are valued more by consumers. That can be seen in this example, with the BAYC Collection being greater than the CryptoPunk collection.

Yuga Labs is launching a new membership card for the exclusive social media channels it has created. The Bored Ape NFT will allow you to access these private communities where people can share their passions and interests with others just like them, all while being grounded in reality.

The NFT artworks are unique in that each one has been created by assembling a random selection of pre-made elements. The result is an original piece with no two alike paintings or sculptures.
